Quantum Computing in Hamburg: Short Ways, High Impact

Quantum computing is seen as one of the key technologies of the 21st century and is prominently featured in Germany’s new coalition agreement. For Germany to position itself as an international leader in quantum technologies, it is crucial to successfully translate cutting-edge research into viable business models and real-world applications. Equally important are the development of strong local ecosystems and consistent political support.

With quantum technologies advancing at a rapid pace — and with this year being the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology — we are taking a closer look at the quantum computing ecosystem in Hamburg, under the theme “Short Ways, High Impact”.

Our campaign will feature various formats, which we will reveal in due course. One key element is the category “People and Faces”, where we give voice to the leading minds shaping Hamburg’s quantum technology landscape. They will share their insights and impressions of Hamburg as a hub for quantum innovation.
