Team Lead – People & Organisation (f/m/d)eleQtron

About eleQtron

eleQtron is at the cutting edge of innovation, blending deep-tech expertise with a dynamic startup spirit. We’re growing, and with this growth comes the opportunity to build and shape our HR function from the ground up. Our goal? To create a people-first environment that attracts top talent, fosters leadership, and streamlines our HR processes for long-term scalability.

The Opportunity

As the Team Lead – People & Organisation, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping eleQtron’s people strategy, ensuring that our teams thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. This is not your run-of-the-mill HR leadership role – we’re looking for someone who’s ready to challenge the status quo, lead a lean team with high impact, and build scalable systems that make eleQtron a magnet for top-tier talent.

Who Should Apply?

You are NOT someone who thrives in rigid, bureaucratic environments. If your idea of HR leadership involves simply managing the status quo, this role is not for you. Instead, we’re looking for someone with a startup mindset – a proactive builder who’s eager to create scalable systems, foster a leadership culture, and develop agile HR processes.

If you’re someone who’s deeply passionate about people-first cultures, driving HR innovation, and building teams that excel in both performance and well-being, you’ll fit right in. We expect you to take ownership, influence change, and establish eleQtron as a talent hub in the deep-tech space.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Inspire: Oversee and mentor our HR team (Hillary and Sarah), ensuring they are set up for success and continuous development.
  • Drive Leadership Excellence: Build an effective cohort of people managers, coaching them to be not just leaders, but mentors and coaches themselves.
  • Optimize HR Operations: Introduce automation and scalable tools that streamline our HR operations, making processes faster and more effective.
  • Shape the Employee Experience: Oversee the end-to-end employee experience, ensuring we remain a people-first organization.
  • Collaborate on Talent Strategy: Work closely with senior leadership on talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies that align with our mission.
  • Be a Data-Driven Leader: Use key metrics and KPIs to analyze the effectiveness of HR initiatives and continuously improve processes.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years in HR, ideally in a leadership role, with a proven track record in building high-performing teams and developing scalable HR systems. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a deep-tech or startup environment.
  • Skills: A generalist HR background with knowledge of the full HR stack (recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, performance management). Strong problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills are a must.
  • Mindset: You’re a self-starter with a strong can-do mentality. You embrace change, take initiative, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Building operating systems for HR excites you.
  • Tech-Savvy: You have experience with HR Tech tools and know how to leverage them for scaling effectively.
  • Communication: Proficiency in Business English, with knowledge of German  as a plus.

Why eleQtron?

This is not your average HR role. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to build HR almost from scratch, shaping it into a key function within our company. As we grow, so will you—this role offers exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to lead critical initiatives that will define eleQtron’s future.

If you’re excited by the prospect of making a meaningful impact, shaping our culture, and leading a dynamic team in a cutting-edge industry, apply today.

Next Steps:

  • Interview Process: 3 stages – motivation & team fit, ‘technical’ expertise (including a written exercise), and leadership alignment.
  • Timeline: We’re aiming to complete your process within 3 weeks.
