Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) and Logistik-Initiative Hamburg agree on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and quantum technology.
The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) and the Logistics Initiative Hamburg have concluded a cooperation agreement for future collaboration. Within the framework of joint events and communication measures, the topics of artificial intelligence and quantum technology will be linked to logistics issues. The “Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital (hqic)” initiative based at ARIC is also part of the cooperation.
The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) e.V. is the cross-thematic and cross-sector know-how center for artificial intelligence (AI) in the Hamburg metropolitan region. In addition, ARIC implements the quantum technology initiative “Hamburg Quantum Innovation Capital” initiated by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, and represents the central and cross-industry coordinator and ecosystem builder of quantum technology activities in the metropolitan region. ARIC simplifies and coordinates access to the future topic of AI and quantum technologies (QT) and creates an overarching AI & QT offering and network. By involving and connecting business, science and society, expertise from different fields is brought together. ARIC CEO Alois Krtil: “The close cooperation with the Logistics Cluster in the DeepTech areas of AI and Quantum Computing expands the ARIC ecosystem and brings the user and research side even closer together.”
Carmen Schmidt, Managing Director of Logistik-Initiative Hamburg adds, “The cooperation between ARIC and Logistik-Initiative Hamburg is an important step towards strengthening Hamburg’s innovation ecosystem and promoting digitalization and innovation in logistics.”
